Beautiful badge commemorationg the 2000 Olympics in SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA

The front of the badge has 2 small doors which open. On these are written THE GAME OF THE XXVII OLYMPIAD and below WELCOME TO SYDNEY. There is the Sydney Olympics logo on one door - a picture of the Sydney Opera House on the other.

The doors open out ot reveal a colourful vista of Sydney Harbour, including the Opera House and the Bridge.

Its beautifully made in a silver metal with 2 stud-pins at the back and comes in a lovely blue presentation box with the Sydney Olympics 2000 logo on the top.

A wonderful collectable of a truly great Olympics !!

This lovely item is in a silver metal with the Sydney Harbour Bridge being the frame for the Australian flag and the Olympic rings and then many flags of nations of the world.

At the bottom of the badge is written
104 YEARS OF AUSTRALIAN OLYMPIC PARTICIPATION 1896-2000

Comes in a see-through presentation box.

Jewel for the Redevelopment and Modernisation Fund for the Royal Masonic Hospital.

As inscribed on the back. Hand is shown in relief on the front and ribbon is dark blue with a light blue stripe down the middle.

Its in used condition but rates as very good .

SILVER Hallmarked Birmingham 1927 MEDAL.

Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes. Bright enamels - Dark Blue around the outside with the words UNITY - LIBERTY - CHARITY. Inside White, Red and Green enamels with the initials GLE.

On the back, next to the hallmarks are the initials C&Co. Then there is the inscription -
Presented to Bro Louis Weinberg Sep 14th 1927 by the Hackney Lodge No.5850.

In very good condition, comes in what is presumably the original box.

In excellent condition !

Gold of the metals surrounds are reasonably bright. Maroon and dark blue enamels are all vivid. Light blue ribbon is in perfect condition though a bit grubby.

STEWARD is in gold on blue enamel on bar at the top with crown on red enamel above that. There is very slight pitting on a bit of the blue enamel - barely noticeable !

Pinned onto the ribbon is a badge with the words CUMBERLAND & WESTMORLAND.

Inscribed by the maker SPENCER LONDON on the back of the jewel.

There is also the Silver Hallmark for Birmingham 1936 on the back.

STEWARD is in gold on blue enamel on bar at the top along with the date 1918.

Inscribed by the maker C WEEDEN & SONS LONDON EC on the back of the jewel.
There is a Silver Hallmark on the back which is a bit rubbed but I believe to be LONDON 1917.

Dont' know anything about this apart from a couple of translations of the German words on the medal.

Very impressive looking, pewter-colour metal medal with the word 'AUSZEICHNUNG' (Honour) on bar above the red and white ribbon.
On the ribbon are the initials S.A.S.B with the word UNTERVERBAND (lower association) and the place SOLOTHURN.
On the medal itself, which has a lovely relief on the metal of a factory and a bridge with laurel leaves, there is the place name GERLAFINGEN 1959. Finally there is a small shield with red enamel, 2 gold stars and another design.
On the back, on the bar and on the medal itself are ,presumably, the makers name and town - P KRAMER NEUCHATEL.

The ribbon and medal are in overall very good condition. Very impressive to look at but I dont know what any of it relates to - if you do, pse contact me !
