Boy's Own Paper from Sep 1950 featuring JOHNNY HAYNES on the cover getting ready for an English Schoolboys International appearance.
There is a small article about him inside. Haynes was to go on and play 56 times as a full international for England and captain the side. There are many to this day who say he was the best passer of a ball in English football !

Great articles and photos.

Photos included are JOHNNY HAYNES - BRYAN DOUGLAS - JOHNNY SUMMERS - BILLY WRIGHT - DANNY BLANCHFLOWER - JACKIE BLANCHFLOWER.

Plus there are loads of action photos from 1955 FA Cup Final between NEWCASTLE & MAN. CITY and the 1958 FINAL between BOLTON & MAN. UTD.

Probably the main highlight of the book is an article 'WHY I JOINED MANCHESTER UNITED' by DUNCAN EDWARDS. It has 2 great pictures - one an action shot playing for England and the other a training photo with Bobby Robson for England. What is exceptionally poignant is that there is an editors note that this article was written by Edwards a few days before he left for Belgrade with the United team - never to return!

The book is in overall fair to good condition. There are a few very small marks on the cover and very small split at bottom of spine. Inside, the bulk of the book is in very good condition. There is some very small paper loss at the corners of the last few pages

Old REAL MADRID football supporters hat. Finished in off-white with a light-purple peak. Real Madrid logo on the front and back. Also, small Real Madrid badge attached, which can be removed to be worn on jacket etc.

Im not sure how old this is but my guess wld be at least 20 years but its just a guess. Condition is very good - just a bit of fading over time of the colouring.
